- Download the completely spyware and virus free Sopcast
- Install it on to your PC whereever you want (and if you can’t open the zip file Sopcast comes in just download and install Winzip or Winrar
- Run Sopcast
- Login as anonymous everytime
- In the address box, top left, paste the relevant code for the match you want from those below and press enter
- Wait a few minutes and enjoy the game!
Just as an added note, the sooner you load up the stream into Sopcast the better the chance of a quality and steady watch, so whenever you can, ensure you load up between 30-10 minutes before the match starts.
Also you may have to try to re-connect a few times, but usually they load straight away from around 45 minutes before the game is due to start. If the stream has loaded beyond 75% for a few minutes but there is no picture, in-order to view the stream you will need to download the small virus free media player VLC here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/vlc/files/1.1.5/win32/vlc-1.1.5-win32.exe/download then keep Sopcast running and press on the picture of the two squares together below the Sopcast screen and the stream will then display in VLC.
Many people make use of JustinTV or Ustream and the like when wanting to watch live streams of football games online, although these aren’t the best options. As they tend to lag frequently because of the vast amount of users watching, or the picture quality is not up to scratch, or the commentary is not in English.
This is why it is preferable to make use of the P2P (peer to peer) software that is available such as Sopcast , as these broadcast dedicated English streams that show live coverage of ALL games in The Premiership, Champions League, Spanish La Liga, FA/Carling Cup, Europa League, Internationals and everything in-between for FREE. Meaning you can watch pretty much any game you like, and have the benefit of watching teams you’ve placed a bet on, or bet in-running with to spice up an otherwise meaningless game.
